Cuba: Observations of a Photographer
July 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Nancy Ori will present photographs from her many trips to Cuba, as well as share stories and travel tips. Ms. Ori says “I had some amazing photographic opportunities while getting to know the locations and even some of the people quite well. They inspired me to create this portfolio of images that are quite different from my usual landscape, architecture, and travel photographs.” Nancy was taught by Ansel Adams and was then affiliated for many years with the Ansel Adams Workshop in California. In New Jersey, she is currently on the faculty of numerous museums and art centers and teaches privately as well.  Her work is in the permanent collection of several American art museums.

Story Times
Bigger kids, i.e. 4, 5, 6 have a special story time on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m.
Toddle story time is Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Baby lapsit is Wednesdays at 11:00 AM and a baby play group at 11:30 a.m.
Every Thursday there’s a drop-in craft at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday evening story time for all ages will be at 6:00 p.m. on July 12 and July 26.

Children’s and Teen Summer Reading Ice Cream Party
July 27 at 2:00 p.m.
Come make your own ice cream and celebrate the end of summer reading!

Adult Summer Reading Party
July 31 at 7:30 p.m.
Join us for refreshments, meet other summer reading participants, and choose a book donated by Random House to take home!
Grand prize winner will be chosen at the party

The Knitting Club meets three times this month on Mondays 7/2, 7/16 and 7/30 at p.m.
Bring a project you are working on or get instruction on a knitting or crocheting project you would like to start.

The Baseball Club holds its regular monthly meeting on Monday, 7/9 at 7 p.m. Anybody with an interest in baseball is welcome to come and talk about your favorite team, players or just listen.

The Thursday Morning and Thursday Evening Book Clubs will not be meeting this month.
