National Friends of Libraries Week to be Celebrated at Kenilworth Public Library

The Kenilworth Public Library will be spending the week of October 15-21, 2017, celebrating its Friends of the Library group as part of the 12th annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.
All interested community members are invited to attend the next Friends of The Kenilworth Public Library meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Activity Room. Light refreshments will be served.
The Friends of the Kenilworth Public Library group is made up of volunteers who raise money and increase public awareness about our library. Money raised by this group supports such important library services as summer reading club programs and special events for both children and adults.
National Friends of Libraries Week is coordinated by United for Libraries, a division of the American Library Association with approximately 4,000 personal and group members representing hundreds of thousands of library supporters. United for Libraries supports those who govern, promote, advocate, and fundraise for libraries and brings together library trustees, advocates, friends, and foundations into a partnership that creates a powerful force for libraries in the 21st century.
Please call The Kenilworth Public Library at 908-276-2451 or visit 548 Boulevard to find out how to become a member of the Friends.
