Nathaniel Holl Exhibits Artwork at Artfully Young Studio Open House

Submitted by Sonia Estevez

Nathaniel Holl, a junior at Watchung Hills Regional High School, Watchung, New Jersey, has long enjoyed drawing wildlife for fun, but earlier this year decided to pursue formal training with Lisa Young, owner of Artfully Young studio in Warren, New Jersey. Right after his first class, Mrs. Young commented that he had “a lot of natural talent.” His first two works, a pheasant in color pencil, and a trout and ducks feeding underwater in pastels, are one of a kind, and they qualified to be shown during Artfully Young’s studio open house in April. The artwork will remain on display throughout the month of June and into July 2018.
Nathaniel is now working on a sleeping cheetah in oil. Nathaniel is an admirer of wildlife and concerned about endangered species. His goal is to put together an exhibit with as many animals as possible by the end of the year.
