Union County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will present Mental Illness in the Family – How to deal with this New Normal on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019. All are welcome. Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center, 2120 Lamberts Mill Rd., Scotch Plains.
Dr. Alison Johnson of Summit Psychological Services will speak about the grief that accompanies a mental health diagnosis and how to come to terms with “this new normal” This will be an important presentation for anyone caring for a loved one with a mental illness.
