Music at the Mansion concert series – Feb. 10th

The Friends of Vermeule Mansion, Inc, (FOVM) will present their popular Music at the Mansion concert series on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the Vermeule Mansion located at the corner of 614 Greenbrook Road and Clinton Avenue, in North Plainfield. Come hear a wonderful program just featuring improvisation over tunes from the Great American Songbook performed by pianist Sean Gough.

Born in the northeastern United States, Sean has deep musical roots as he began listening to music and playing piano at a very young age. Gough graduated with a MA degree in Jazz History and Research from Rutgers University. He is currently teaching at Lafayette College and is a professional musician and has performed professionally since the age of 18. Recent performances include a 2018 tour in the US and abroad with the Gene Perla Trio featuring jazz vocalist Viktorija Gecyte. Gough is the grandson of opera tenor Ronald Naldi of North Plainfield.

Light refreshments representing the countries in the program will be offered and admission is free. Donations are gratefully accepted.
