WINTER READING CHALLENGE

Monday January 1-Wednesday January 31

Join us for our 5th Annual Reading Challenge. Our goal is to read 2,204 books this winter! Log the books you read during the month of January at beanstack.millburn.org to win prizes. For all ages!  Sponsored by the Friends of the Millburn Library.

Learn how to keep yourself safe online by knowing what’s real and what’s a scam.

IN PERSON: THE HISTORY AND MYSTERY OF TAROT

Divination using Tarot cards dates back to the mid-15th century. Erol Delos Santos will explain the history of Tarot, what the cards mean, and what messages they convey. He will demonstrate the power of the cards, with readings for selected participants.

IN PERSON: THE TRIAL OF ALFRED DREYFUS WITH ALBERT GORIN

The Dreyfus Affair was a political and criminal justice scandal in France from 1894 to 1906. The French High Command attempted to cover up blame for France’s loss during the Franco Prussian War by trying and convicting an innocent Jewish Officer, Alfred Dreyfus.

Little ones will experience the magic of music and movement through traditional and original songs, puppets, parachutes, bubbles, rhythm sticks, egg shakers and other fun instruments and props. Registration required.

We invite you to sign up to read to a calm and happy dog certified with Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs. Registration required.

What does crafts + afternoon equal? Why, crafternoon of course! Kids are invited to make a fun seasonal craft. Drop in.
