ShopRite of Stirling has a new Store Manager. Michelle Mares has been part of the VIllage Supermarket Family for 29 years where she began working in multiple capacities including Cashier, Night Crew,
Dairy, Grocery, Produce, and Deli. While building her career with VIllage Super Markets, which owns 29 ShopRite locations mostly in New Jersey, Mares also owned and operated her own landscaping business for 12 years.
Before coming to Stirling store the beginning of May, Mares was the Store Manager of ShopRite in Old Bridge, and is proud to be one of three women to have the title of Store Manager in the 29 stores operated by Village Super Market.
“We are happy to have Michelle in our community”, said Long HIll Chamber of Commerce President Michelle Cavett of Soo Bahk Do Karate of Gillette. Mares was elected to the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as an alternate
at their meeting held on May 15th, along with Jade Palmieri of Millington Bank and Denise DeCorso of Investors Bank. “ShopRite has been an active member of the Chamber, and Michelle was very excited to get involved”, Cavett said.
“ShopRite’s customers and associates are lucky to have a Store Manager with such enthusiasm and leadership”.
