Gifted and Talented students attend Mental Marathon Convocation

Mental Marathon Convocation

The 4th grade Gifted and Talented students attended the Mental Marathon Convocation on Wednesday, February 22nd. They were accompanied by their teachers Melissa Mazurek, Tania Pacheco, Vivian Pupo, and Stephanie Webb, Gifted and Talented supervisor Matthew Lorenzetti, and 10 Linden parent volunteers.

The trip was sponsored by the Union County Gifted and Talented Association and held at the Rahway Recreation Center. While on the trip, students worked with G&T 4th graders from Roselle and Rahway in 15 teams to complete challenges such as solving an escape room, creating tangram images, and completing craft stick puzzles. The students had a wonderful time.
