Memorial Library Branch’s Jr.FLL Expo a Success

SCLSNJ’s North Plainfield Memorial Library branch’s Jr.FLL Expo, held on May 6 at the North Plainfield Middle School, was a smashing success with over 100 people in attendance to witness the “Creature Craze” challenge. Each year, FIRST LEGO League Jr. presents a new and exciting Challenge to ignite the creativity of children age 6 to 10. While exploring the real-world theme, teams use basic engineering concepts to build a model made of LEGO® elements. They also learn to present information through a Show Me Poster. Throughout the experience, teams have operated under the FIRST LEGO League Jr. Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.
