Boy Scouts from Troops 75 and 80 in Cranford along with Troop 506 from Newark helped place flags and conduct a wreath laying at Fairmount Cemetery on Saturday, May 27. There are about 1,000 graves in the Soldiers Section of the cemetery and a Civil War Soldiers Monument built by the citizens of Newark, where the wreath laying takes place.
