City of Linden Police Department
Linden Police Sergeants Joseph Apppello and Mieszko Niedziolka were promoted effective August 1st. They will fill newly created field supervisor positions in the Patrol Division.
“Policing is more complicated than ever. We have a younger police force under a high level of scrutiny performing very complex activities at a rate higher than at any other time in history, and we need more experienced supervisors to guide them effectively, “said Police Chief David Hart. “Sergeants Appello and Niedziolka are both very capable, experienced, and enthusiastic Police Officers, and I am confident they have a significant impact in the Patrol Division.”
