City of Linden Announces Upcoming Halloween Events

Linden Halloween 2020 Events

The City of Linden Halloween Parade for 2020 has been canceled due to COVID-19. The Halloween Committee met throughout the year, hoping to have the parade. However, with the safety and best interest of the community in mind, the final decision was to cancel the parade. While trying to keep some sense of normalcy for the City, the City of Linden, the Halloween Committee and the Department of Parks and Recreation have planned several socially-safe events for the community. The events are:

Scarecrow Creations

October 19 – October 31 

Made by the Linden Public Schools will be on display in front of City Hall

Adult Movie Night 

October 29

Night of the Living Dead (1968) Starring George Romero (6:30 p.m.)

House on Haunted Hill (1959) Starring Vincent Price (8:30 p.m.)

At Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, 400 North Wood Avenue

Family Night 

October 30

Magic Show  (5:30 p.m.)

Monster House (6:30 p.m.)

Movie treat bag for each person attending

Marathon of Past Linden Halloween Parades 

October 31 

Watch on Linden TV Channels 36/42 starting at 8:00 a.m. Miscellaneous years starting with 1991.

Registration is required for EACH INDIVIDUAL ATTENDING and must be done by 4:00pm the day of the event, excluding the Marathon of Past Linden Halloween Parades.

LINDEN RESIDENTS ONLY. Registration can be done online at https://register.communitypass.net/linden or call 908-474-8600. Bring Photo ID to check in.

Social distancing will be practiced and face coverings are required
