LFD Deputy Chief Retires

Deputy Chief Larry Kolesa officially retired on January 1, 2021. Deputy Chief Kolesa served proudly on the City of Linden Fire Department for 28 years. He most recently was the Administrative Deputy Chief overseeing the Fire Prevention and Training Division. DC Kolesa was also the Fire Official for the City of Linden. The year 2020 was my first full year serving as Chief of the Department and Deputy Chief Kolesa was an instrumental in helping me run the Fire Department on a day to day basis. His knowledge, experience and hard work will be missed. Enjoy your well-deserved and earned pension.
