Leala Arnold wins 2018 Gerard Paradiso Scholarship

The Friends of the Cranford Public Library are pleased to announce the recipient of the 2018 Gerard Paradiso Scholarship. Leala Arnold, scholarship winner, is on track to graduate from San Jose State University in December 2018 with a Masters in Library and Information Science. Ms. Arnold holds a BA in English from Montclair State University and a BA in Film from Kean University. She is currently employed as a Youth Services Associate at the Branch Brook Branch of the Newark Public Library.

The Gerard Paradiso Scholarship provides $1,000 dollars to a Cranford resident pursuing or intending to pursue a graduate degree in library and information science. It is named for former Friends of the Cranford Public Library President Gerard Paradiso.
