League of Women Voters to Meet About Redistricting Process

Fair Districts NJ is a non-partisan coalition fighting to reform New Jersey’s redistricting process. The League of Women Voters believes that redistricting should be impartial and transparent. It should maximize public input in the process and put the power in the hands of the voters. Redistricting is happening in 2021. We need to organize now.

The League of Women Voters of Berkeley Heights, New Providence & Summit will host Helen Kioukis, LWVNJ Program Associate. She will lay out the problem, offer solutions and call to action citizens who want to ensure that NJ Congressional and Legislative Districts are drawn in a way that is transparent, representative and impartial.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the De Corso Community Center, 15 E. 4th Street, New Providence. The public is invited.

Join us – find out about the coalition and how you can help take action. We can draw fairer maps, encourage competition, increase voter turnout and make redistricting reform a reality in NJ.
