Knights of Columbus Donation to Nick Swandrak

Submitted by John Doolan

On Saturday March 25th, the Cranford Knights of Columbus Council # 6226 held our Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance at St. Michael’s School Gymnasium and from the proceeds of this worthy event, the Council voted to make a donation of $4,000 to Nick Swandrak and his family to help and assist them in Nick’s valiant and ongoing fight against Cancer.

At our May General Meeting, we presented Nick and his family with a check and Nick’s father John let us know how Nick has been doing and his prognosis for the future.

The Council would like to acknowledge and thank Brother Rich Pierce and the St. Patrick’s Dance Committee for another job well done and to all of our friends and the Cranford community who attend and support this worthy event each and every year.

The Cranford Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Fraternal Organization dedicated to our four core principles, Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
