Toys for Tots

The Kiwanis Club of Linden has been active since January of 1947 which is actually when Toys for Tots was created by Marine Corps Reserve Major Bill Hendricks. His wife encouraged him to start this organization when he could not find an agency to accept the handmade dolls she had created. The Linden Kiwanis Club are pleased to work with the Linden Fire Department by donating toys for underprivileged children and families in Union County.

For information on joining the Kiwanis Club of Linden, contact June Lazaro at 908-930-8310 or email her at junlazaro@verizon.net. Our club holds hybrid meetings monthly for a Thursday luncheon in Linden. If preferred one can attend virtually via zoom. Lois Bass, a retired employee from Infineum USA L.P., is our current president. Interested in positively impacting our youth and serving our community? Contact June and be invited to one of our luncheons. Together we can change the future by guiding children through leadership and community service.
