Father’s Day Craft: 3:30pm – 4:00pm on Friday, June 2.
Create a unique craft to take home and display for ages: 4 – 9.
Local Children’s Author Visit with Linda Yianolatos: 6:30pm – 7:00pm on Tuesday, June 6
Local children’ author will read her new book,Children: A Word Please! and present an activity related to the of the story. Ages: 3 & up
Lego At The Library: 3:30pm – 4:00pm on Friday, June 1 & 8
Explore and build with our collection of Lego bricks.
Ages: 4 – 12
Boogie Woogie Babies: 10:30am – 11:00am on Tuesday, June 13
Interactive musical program will be presented by Tiffany Taylor for ages: 0- 4
Yoga Story Time: 10:30am – 11:00am on Wednesday, June 14
Join us for stories and yoga poses for the youngest listeners and their caregiver. This program will be presented by Sandy Szeluga for ages: 2 – 5. This program has been funded by The Friends of The Kenilworth Public Library.
Journey To Africa: 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, June 15
Join us for a fascinating interactive experience highlighting traditional rhythms, songs, instruments and dances that are part of the African continent as we celebrate Juneteenth.
This program will be presented by Okra Dance Company and is recommended for ages 4 – adult.
This program was made possible by funds from the Union County Office of Cultural Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
Juneteenth Craft: 3:30pm – 4:00pm on Friday, June 16.
Create a unique craft to take home and display for ages: 4 – 9.
Wondergy: Cool Science: 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, June 22
Participants will explore interactive science experiments which include the use liquid nitrogen – along with cream, milk, and sugar – to serve up the freshest ice cream you’ve ever tasted! This program is recommended for ages 4 – adult.
Don’t miss this educational program which includes a delicious treat.
This program has been funded by a Recycling Grant given to the Borough of Kenilworth.
Professor W’s Earth Science Circus: 11:00am – 12:00pm on Monday, June 26.
Join us for this interactive event featuring earth science experiments and circus fun.
This program is recommended for ages 4 – adult.

Good Tyme String Band: 10:30am – 11:00am on Wednesday, June 28.
All ages are welcome to attend and enjoy foot tapping knee slapping music.
Unique Creatures: 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, June 29.
Participants will be educated and entertained as they learn about and view up close various unique and amazing animals.
This program will be presented by Larry Apap and is recommended for ages 4 – adult.

.Kenilworth residents may begin to register one week prior to each special event.
Out of town residents may begin to register two days prior to each event,
space permitting.

ADULT PROGRAMS
Join us on Tuesday, June 6 & 20 at 2:00pm – 4:00pm for our card making group “Paper Pals.” You don’t need any paper crafting experience to join the fun. This is a FREE program for adults.
“Yarnies”: During the month of May we will meet on Thursday, June 1, 8 & 15 at 2:00pm – 4:00pm and Thursday, June 29 at 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
“Spinning Fibers”: Join us on Tuesday, June 27 at 6:00pm – 7:45pm. Bring your spinning wheel or drop spindle and create beautiful yarns! If you don’t have a wheel, you are still welcome to join us to learn about spinning.
