Kenilworth Public Library Children’s Events

Author and Illustrator José Lucio recently visited the Kenilworth Public Library to present a drawing workshop for children, providing an opportunity to learn how to sketch characters from his books, Heave Ho and Free Rain.

(above) Children had an opportunity to purchase a copy of these books, and have them signed at the conclusion of this event.

 

Andrew Siegele, a science educator from Wondergy science museum, recently visited the Kenilworth Public Library to present various science experiments using recycled materials. This event was funded by a Recycling Grant given to the Borough of Kenilworth.

 

Robin Hood for children, Nov. 2nd

The Traveling Lantern Company will present the play Robin Hood for children ages 4 & up on Thursday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. – 7:45pm.
Join us for this interactive performance of heroic deeds and jolly adventures in this live-action theater tale of Robin Hood and his Merry Men, who are ever jauntily escaping from the clutches of the ill-disposed Sheriff of Nottingham.
