April Children’s programs and events:

Weekly programs: 

Lap Sit: 10:30am – 10:50am – April 4, 11 & 25

Interactive stories and songs for ages 0 – 2 years old

Toddler Time: 10:30am – 10:50am – April 5 & 12

Interactive stories, songs and activities for ages 2 – 3 years old

April Special Events

Registration is required for all special events.

Lego at The Library 3:30pm – 4:00pm on Thursday, April 6

Explore and build with our collection of Lego bricks.

Ages: 4 – 12

Sew It Workshop: 3:30pm – 5:30pm on Thursday, April 13

Participants will learn to use a sewing machine, design and sew

 a crossbody bag with zipper and pocket. 

This workshop will be presented by Ellen Lumpkin Brown.  Ages: 9 – Adult

Easter & Spring Craft: 3:30pm – 4:00pm on Friday, April 14.

Create a unique craft to take home and display for ages: 4 – 9.

Boogie Woogie Babies: 10:30am – 11:00am on Tuesday, April 18

Interactive musical program will be presented by Tiffany Taylor for ages: 0-  4

Yoga Story Time: 10:30am – 11:00am on Wednesday, April 19

Join us for stories and yoga poses for the youngest listeners and their caregiver.

This program will be presented by Sandy Szeluga for ages: 2 –  5.

Mind Reading Game Show With Flavian: 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, April 20

Flavian will read your mind and make you laugh as he reveals answers t some very funny questions! 

Ages: 10 – Adult

This program has been funded by donations in memory of Elvira Kowalczuk.

Good Tymes String Band on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:30am – 11:00am.

All ages are welcome to attend and enjoy foot tapping knee slapping music

Mad Science Workshop: Playing With Polymers on Thursday, April 27 at 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

Ages: 4 – 12.  Interactive workshop exploring a unique science theme.

Kenilworth residents may begin to register one week prior to each special event.

Out of town residents may begin to register two days prior to each event, space permitting.

ADULT PROGRAMS

Join us on Tuesday, April 4 & 18 at 2:00pm – 4:00pm for our card making group  “Paper Pals.”  You don’t need any paper crafting experience to join the fun. This is a free program for adults.

 “Yarnies”:  During the month of April we will meet on Thursday, April 6, 13 & 20 at  2:00pm – 4:00pm and Thursday, April 27 at 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
