Kenilworth Police Sgt. Michael Scanielo and Ptl. Ryan Kernan were honored at the 200 Club’s Valor Awards Luncheon held at Shackamaxon Country Club in Scotch Plain on Friday, May 11th, 2018 for going above and beyond during a hazardous motor vehicle stop on the Kenilworth Boulevard on February 1, 2017. Sergeant Scanielo, Sgt. Davis, Ptl. Kernan, and Ptl.Garrison were all recognized and commended at a Borough of Kenilworth council meeting by the governing body in February of 2017. Sergeant Scanielo and Ptl. Kernan both received departmental citations for their efforts and valor.
