Kayla Horta and Gabriel Zuniga were recently chosen as the winners for the countywide poster contest sponsored and coordinated by the Union County Dental Society. On March 28, 2018, the fourth-graders from Franklin Elementary School in Rahway New Jersey were honored at the 2018 poster contest awards presentation. The event took place at Costa Del Sol in Union where the students were awarded a ribbon and a gift certificate for Sports Authority.
The contest was open to all fourth-grade public school children using this year’s ADA Dental Health Month theme “ Brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste and clean between your teeth for a healthy smile ” The contest helps to promote healthy mouths and bodies in children as part of National Dental Health Month.
