Kathy Willis of Cranford Family Care Association Announces Retirement

Kathy Willis of Cranford Family Care Association Retires

“Thanks for the Memories” I wish to thank all the wonderful people in my life who have supported me during my time with Cranford Family Care. The time has come for me to step down as Executive Director. I am pleased to announce our new Executive Director Julie Carroll. Julie has been a member of the Board of Directors for fourteen years. I know she will do a fine job. Cranford Family Care was incorporated in 1936 by a group of concerned citizens who understood that there was a need to help our neighbors at a time when this country was suffering from the effects of the Great Depression. These were families that did not qualify for any other assistance.

I became a volunteer in 1982 and was hired in 1989. The journey has been more than I ever expected. I have been privileged to meet and work with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, houses of worship, school children and their teachers, clubs and so many caring and giving people. Especially the women of Project Home, Cranford Jr. Women’s Club, and Cranford Junior League. A very special thank you to Cerebral Palsy League.

I also had the privilege to meet and help folks that were in serious trouble and working with the Board of Directors of CFC we were able to make a difference in their lives.

As the world is constantly changing Cranford is truly blest to have an agency that can and will be able to help families in need. So please continue to support Cranford Family Care and all the good work they can do. It has been my pleasure to serve the community for all these years.

Sincerely, Kathy Willis
