Kid’s Winter Reading Challenge
From now until January 31, the Clark Public Library will participate in Beanstack’s Second Annual Winter Reading Challenge, sponsored by Mark Cuban. We challenge our patrons ages 3-12 to read a group total of at least 10,000 minutes during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at clarklibrary.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack Tracker App. Hundreds of libraries and schools across the nation will encourage their communities to read a target number of minutes and books. If we reach the collective goal, “Shark Tank” investor Mark Cuban will donate $35,000 to top participating libraries to expand access to the resources we offer within the community. Participants will earn a small prize for the first 4 hours of reading they log and be automatically entered into our prize drawing for every hour logged! The grand prize is a $50 Amazon gift card! Runners up will get to choose a prize from our prize box. Anyone can participate, but you must be a Clark resident to win the grand prize.
