House of Aces Charity Tennis Tournament

Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company

On June 24, the Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company hosted the first annual House of Aces Charity Tennis Tournament at the Warren Health and Racquet Club.

Mt. Bethel was the first Fire Company to be established in Warren Township in 1912 and is comprised mostly of local volunteers. It is now one of four volunteer fire companies in Warren Township.

The inaugural tennis tournament was a fast-paced, mixed team team tennis format with four levels of competition. In total, there were 6 teams which came out to compete helping raise over $5,300 for the volunteer fire company.

Thank you to the many local businesses which helped sponsor the tournament and congratulations to the Green Knoll Goats and Ben Lai A-Team for winning first place in their respective divisions. There was overwhelmingly positive feedback from everyone which means the House of Aces will be back next year to host another tennis tournament.

We are actively looking for any and all volunteers to help make our community and the surrounding area a safe place to live. Please consider volunteering with us. You can stop in on any Wednesday night during training to talk with one of us or drop us an email for more info: mtbethelfire@gmail.com.
