Frank K. Hehnly students in Mrs. Lisa Cepeda’s first-grade class celebrated the 50th day of school on November 23rd. The class traveled back in time to the 1950s for this special occasion. They danced to some sock hop music, created a 1950s-inspired craft, tallied up to 50, and discussed what life was like for kids in the ‘50s compared to today.

Ms. Cepeda stated, “The students used what they learned in math, art, language arts, music, and social studies to celebrate this special day! It was certainly a memorable way to mark the 50th day of school!”
