Warren Halloween 2020!

It’s always a toss-up as to who has more fun celebrating Halloween, the students, or the staff. This year, while maintaining all safety and health precautions, Warren Schools celebrated Halloween over the course of a week to ensure that students from all cohorts were able to participate.

The district saw a lot of Halloween spirit from each of the five schools. Grade 5 students at Mt. Horeb School and a few staff members participated in a Flash Mob entertaining a small group of teachers and students with a performance of Michael Jackson’s, “Thriller.” A special thank you to Mrs. Cristina Trump for working with the grade 5 students in Cohorts A and B to perfect this awesome display of school spirit!

Students from around the district came up with some very creative costumes, some of which were influenced by the popular Netflix show, The Tiger King as well as an oldie but goodie, Grease!

Although the students’ families were unable to attend the traditional parades and parties, fun was had by all. Students who are Distance Learners were able to participate in their school’s parade via a live stream. Many teachers also incorporated Halloween music, crafts, and treats into lessons for virtual students.

We hope that all Warren families enjoyed a happy and healthy Halloween! We look forward to inviting our families back to the Halloween festivities next year.
