Students Model Plate Tectonics
Students in Mrs. Bree’s 6th grade Earth Science class enjoyed a hands-on lab modeling plate tectonics. Clementines were used to represent Earth. Students could see how rigid peels of the lithosphere floated on the moveable solid jelly of the asthenosphere.
