Residents honored
Longtime Garwood residents, Karen Cerulo and Janet Ruane, were recognized with a national award by the American Sociological Association. The Mary Douglas Best Book Award, given to books written about American culture, was presented to the authors in Philadelphia on August 20, 2023. The winning book is entitled Dreams of a Lifetime: How Who We Are Shapes How We Imagine Our Future (Princeton University Press).
