Library Board Meeting
September 7 at 7:30 p.m.
A meeting of the Garwood Library Board of Trustees will take place at the Library. This meeting is open to the public.

Classic Movie Friday
September 9 and 23 at noon
Join us for Classic Movie Fridays featuring memorable movies from the 50s and 60s. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required.

Knitting Club
September 12, 19 and 26 at 10:30 a.m.
Join our Knitting Club. Open to all levels, whether you’re a beginner or you want to share your vast knowledge of knitting, or just spend an hour being creative and socializing. No Registration required. Yarn and needles provided to newcomers.

Storytime in the Library
September 13, 20, and 27, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Join Miss Maryanne for stories, bubbles and more in the library. Registration Required.

ASK- Aging Services Kiosk
September 14 from 10 to Noon
Union County Division of Aging Staff will be on hand to assist seniors (age 60+) or their caregivers with information on services, such as meal delivery, respite care, adult day care, support services for caregivers and more. No registration required.

Basic Genealogy
September 14 at 7 p.m.
Join Eric Midgal of “It’s All Relative” for a fun and informative evening that will provide insight to help you start your journey into your family history. Once registered a Zoom link will be sent.

YoBoo in the Park
September 15, 22, and 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Join us for YoBoo at Hartman Park for little ones (ages 2-8). YoBoo is yoga and aerobic exercise for kids. Hartman Park is located at 431 Second Ave in Garwood. Registration required.

Book Discussion Group
September 19 at 1 p.m
Join us in the library for a lively discussion of this month’s book “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins.

Virtual Minecraft Gaming
September 28, October 5, 12, and 19, at 4 p.m.
The Library in collaboration with the virtual program host TD3 Innovative Gaming will send your child on a Minecraft journey through time, from the inception of the universe, through Ancient Egypt and the Lost City of Atlantis. Along the way your child may develop their problem solving and communication skills. This program runs for 4 sessions. It is offered for children in 1st through 5th grade. Registration required. Limit 10.

SHIP – State Health Care Insurance Program
September 29 at 7 p.m
A representative from Sage Eldercare will explain the facts about the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). SHIP provides free help to New Jersey Medicare beneficiaries who have questions about their health insurance. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Registration is required.
