Knitting Club
April 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 10:30 am
Join our Knitting Club. Open to all levels, whether you’re a beginner or you want to share your vast knowledge of knitting, or just spend an hour being creative and socializing. No Registration required. Yarn and needles provided to newcomers

Storytime in the Library
April 4, 18 and 25 at 10 am and 11 am
Join Miss Maryanne for stories, bubbles and more. Registration Required. The April 25 Storytime features local author Roseanne Kurstedt

Virtual Kids Craft
April 4 at 3pm
Pick up supplies for a craft, then watch the craft tutorial on the Library’s Facebook page at 3 pm. The video will be available for viewing thereafter. Registration is required for craft kits and is limited to 15 participants. Sign up on the Library’s website calendar or by phone.

LEGO Club
April 5 and 19 at 3 pm
Be inspired by this month’s theme or build whatever comes to mind. Then share your creation with others. Registration required by phone or in person. Limit 12 children, ages 4 -12.

Library Board Meeting
April 5 at 7:30 pm
A meeting of the Garwood Library Board of Trustees will take place in the Library. This meeting is open to the public.

Kid’s Chess
April 6 and 20 at 3 pm
Informal chess games for children of all ages. Note this is non-instructional supervised play. No registration required. Limit 12.

Ask Kiosk – Aging Services Kiosk
April 12 from 10 am to noon
Union County Division of Aging Staff will be on hand to assist seniors (age 60+) or their caregivers with information on services, such as meal delivery, respite care, adult day care and support services for caregivers

Classic Movie Fridays
April 14 and 28 at Noon
Join us for Classic Movie Fridays featuring memorable movies from the 50s and 60s. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required.

Family Peeps Diorama Contest
Entry Deadline April 17
Make an original shoebox – sized Diorama featuring Peeps, the iconic Easter candies, as the main character. A Peeps starter kit will be available while supplies last on March 21. All entries will be displayed in the Library Showcase. The wining family will receive a prize and a “Peeps Choice” Trophy. All dioramas should be picked up by April 28.

Virtual Adult Craft
April 18 at 3 pm
Pick up your craft supplies from the Library and then watch the Facebook tutorial at 3 pm. Registration is required for craft kits and is limited to 10 participants. Sign up on the Library website’s events calendar or by phone.
