The Garwood Police Department is in the early planning stages of hosting our first ever Garwood Police Youth Academy. The Youth Academy is an opportunity for our young residents to not only get to know our officers but to get a hands-on experience of what a career in law enforcement is like. The Inaugural session of the Garwood Police Department Youth Academy has been scheduled for the week of August 20 to 24, 2018. The program is offered to youth in grades sixth through eight of the 2018/2019 school year. Parents or guardians looking to enroll their children can contact Sgt. John Wright or Sgt.
