Garwood Public Library Announces September Events

Garwood Library September 2021

Library Hours

The Garwood Library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting September 11. Ten people are permitted in the library at a time for one hour, no appointments necessary. One hour computer use is permitted. Staff is available to copy and fax for the public. Curbside service is also available. The Library will be closed September 6 for the Labor Day holiday.

Storytime at Hartman Park

September 14, 21 and 28 at 10:30 a.m.

Join Miss Maryanne for a Storytime, bubbles and more at 10:30 a.m. at Hartman Park, located at 431 Second Ave in Garwood, weather permitting

Book Discussion Group via Zoom

September 20 at 1 p.m. 

Join us for a lively discussion of this month’s book “Fleishman’s in Trouble” by Taffy Brodesser-Anker. Once registered for the club, a Zoom link will be sent via email.

Fall Fun Amigurumi via Zoom

September 29 at 7:00 p.m. 

Learn the basics of making Amigurumi or crocheted stuffed animals. Fun, easy and highly customizable. Just in time for Fall, we will make an autumnal cuddle buddy! Beginners are welcome. Pick up all supplies from the library on September 29. For teens and adults. Registration required. Limit 10. Once registered a Zoom link will be provided.
