Library Board Meeting 

June 2 at 7:30 p.m.

A meeting of the Garwood Library Board of Trustees will take place in the Library. This meeting is open to the public. Masks and social distancing are required.

Primary Election

June 8 all day 

The Library will be a polling location for the Primary Election.

Summer Reading Begins – Registration for Summer Reading begins

June 21

Book Discussion Group via Zoom

June 21 at 1 p.m.

Join us for a lively discussion of this month’s book “The Marriage of Opposites” by Alice Hoffman. Once registered for the club, a Zoom link will be sent via email.

Virtual Kid’s Craft

June 29 at 3 p.m.

Pick up craft supplies on the 29th and follow the Facebook tutorial at 3 pm. Registration is required for craft kits and is limited to 15 participants. Sign up on the Library website’s events calendar or by phone. 

Rescript the Story You Are Telling Yourself

June 24 at 7 p.m.

Join Colleen George, life/career coach, TEDx speaker and author of the 8-time award winning book, RESCRIPT the Story You Are Telling Yourself as she discusses ways to achieve your goals and manage your stresses. Registration is required. Once registered a Zoom link will be provided.

Summer Reading Opening Event

June 25 at 2 p.m.

Join us for a Summer Reading Kick Off event in the Library Parking Lot with giveaways and ice cream from the SCREAM TRUCK for all who are registered for summer reading. Registration required. Limit 40.

Safari Magic Show

June 30 at 1:30 p.m.

Join us at the Library for an interactive magic show starring Jenny the Giraffe and Muscle Man Mike. Registration required. Limit 20. For children 3rd grade and younger.

The Garwood Library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ten people are permitted in the library at a time for one hour, no appointments necessary. One hour computer use is permitted. Staff is available to copy and fax for the public. Curbside service is also available.
