February 3 at 7:30 pm – Library Board Meeting A meeting of the Garwood Library Board of Trustees will take place in the Library. This meeting is open to the public. Masks and social distancing are required.

February 4, 11, 18, 25, and March 4 at 3pm –  Virtual Red-Hot Robotics Kids will explore the basic and complex technology used to design and build robots. Each participant will pick up a robot kit before the start of the program. The program is open to children in grades 2 to 6. Please register for the class by phone or on the Garwood Library’s events calendar. Once registered a Zoom link will be provided. The class is limited to 20 participants.

February 9, at 3 pm – Virtual Kid’s Craft  Pick up craft supplies from 10 am to 7 pm on the 9th    and follow the  Facebook tutorial at  3 pm. Registration is required and is limited to 15 participants. Sign up on the Library website’s events calendar or by phone.

February 11 at 7 pm – Managing Stress and Anxiety Join Diane Lang, Therapist, Educator, Author, and Positive Living Expert, as she discusses how to help create a balanced lifestyle by relieving stress and anxiety. Learn the signs of “Burnout,” the impact of stress and anxiety on our bodies, and ways to simplify your life so that you can feel more empowered, motivated, and healthier. Please register on the Garwood Library website event page or by phone at 908-789-1670. Once registered, a Zoom link will be sent prior to the start of the program.

February 12 at 3 pm – Hoppy Valentine’s Day Join the Library for a story time and stuffed animal stuffing. Pick up your kangaroo and little baby joey by 1 pm. Join Ms. Maryanne at 2 pm on the Library’s Facebook page to enjoy a Kangaroo story time video and kangaroo stuffing. Please register for this event on the Garwood Library website event page or by phone. Limit 20. For kids 3rd grade and younger

February 15, the Library is Closed in honor of President’s Day

February 16 at 3 pm – Virtual Adult Craft on Tuesday, February 16,  2021. Pick up your craft supplies from 10 am to 7 pm and watch the Facebook tutorial at 3 pm. Registration is required and is limited to 10 participants. Sign up on the Library website’s events calendar or by phone.

February 22 at 1pm – Book Discussion Group via Zoom Join us for a lively discussion of this month’s book. Check with the Library for their latest book selection. 908-789-1670. Once registered,  a Zoom link will be sent via email..
