Gallery-on-the-Boulevard at the Kenilworth Library

The Gallery-on-the-Boulevard in the Kenilworth Library is currently exhibiting the paintings of Kenilworth resident Carol Bertolotti. Titled “12th Street, Scarlet Town and the Shinbone Star,” the show will continue through September.

A self taught artist, Bertolotto states she has drawn inspiration for her paintings from diverse sources, including movies, TV, and surreal childhood dreams. There are over 30 artworks in this exhibit using acrylics and spray paint on board, canvas, wood and paper.

Her works have been featured in gallery shows in Italy, Los Angeles and New York. Her work is also part of a retrospective on the life of Bob Dylan in Hibbing, MN, and appears in the book “Beatles Art.”

The gallery is open to the public during regular library hours. For more information call 908-276-2451.
