Fundraiser for Cranford Firefighter
Knights of Columbus of Garwood and Cranford
The Final Four Charity Fundraiser to support Cranford Firefighter Robert Hurewitz, whose career was cut short by physical injuries sustained on the job, will take place on Saturday, April 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Columbian Club of Garwood at 37 South Ave., in Garwood. Tickets are $35 per person and include beer, wine, soda, and food.
Hurewitz suffered heart and kidney damage in the line of duty last year. The effects have been lasting and deleterious. Proceeds from the April 2 fundraiser will be donated his family.
