Celebrate F-SP College Club’s 90th Anniversary at the Scholarship Fundraising Luncheon

Celebrate F-SP College Club’s 90th Anniversary

The College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains will celebrate 90 years of empowering young women on April 16, at The Galloping Hill Golf Course Clubhouse, 3 Golf Dr., Kenilworth, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Club members are looking forward to this special event after a four-year hiatus due to pandemic closures and concerns.

The event will feature a three-course lunch, Gift Basket Raffle, 50/50 Raffle (consisting of three monetary prizes) and a Silent Auction. Guest Speaker, Kiran Dhaliwal, is a local artist, designer, past president of the FSP Rotary Club and is dedicated to bettering the lives of at-risk young women will address the audience during the event.  Kiran’s personal journey spans cultures, varied careers and her belief in giving back-especially to women.

All proceeds from the luncheon will fund scholarships for local young women. There are college bound women in our community who depend on College Club Scholarships so the College Club members are motivated to make the Spring Luncheon a fundraising success and an enjoyable event for all who attend. To date, the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains has awarded approximately $750,000.00 in scholarships to approximately 574 young women.
