Recently, students from the Blue and Gold Club at Franklin Elementary, in Rahway, New Jersey, visited the Atria Senior Living Facility in Cranford, New Jersey. Students brought the residents gifts and also made hanging heart food for birds. They were really happy to see the smiles that they put on the faces of the residents.
The school’s Blue and Gold Club, which is made up of students that volunteer their time throughout the year. The students really enjoy taking part in many different community-based service projects.
