Students for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Rahway Public Schools
Students at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway finished a month-long donation drive by presenting a $500 check to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in support of their fight to cure blood cancers.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and compassion,” said Dr. Patrick Holness, Principal of Franklin Elementary School. “This donation drive is a testament to their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.”
A special thank you to Ms. Piedra’s class who went above and beyond by assisting with the meticulous counting of the collected funds.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting blood cancers. The funds raised by Franklin Elementary will directly support LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the lives of patients and their families.
