Feast of St. Anthony 2022
After a 2-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Feast of St. Anthony returned to Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park. The 22nd Annual Feast ran from Thursday – Sunday, June 9 – 12, 2022, and was attended by thousands over the four days.
In addition to rides and games for children of all ages, the Feast featured nightly live entertainment. A draw of the Feast is always the food! Traditional “Feast Favorites” including cheesesteaks, sausage and homemade meatball sandwiches were prepared by the Parish. In addition to “Daily Italian Specials” from local restaurants the street was lined with an assortment of food trucks and stands freshly preparing everything from zeppoles and pizza to kettle corn, fresh squeezed lemonade and more. There was also face painting, glitter tattoos and sand art for the young and the young at heart.
On Sunday, June 12th, following Mass, the Very Reverend Father James F. Spera led the traditional St. Anthony Procession through the streets of Roselle Park accompanied by Knights of Columbus Msgr. F. Loreti Council #3240.
