Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League Seeks Scholarship Applications

Submitted by Barbara Rappaport

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League is now accepting applications for scholarships from Fanwood-Scotch Plains resident seniors graduating high school in 2019, and those residents currently attending college or post high school technical schools. Applications can be obtained from the Scotch Plains – Fanwood High School (SPFHS) guidance office. Submission deadline is Friday, February 15, 2019.

Recipients are selected with particular emphasis on demonstrated commitment to volunteerism and community service in high school and college. Financial need, outside employment, and demonstrated ability to succeed at post-high school studies are also part of the decision making process.

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that, through its Thrift Shop, has served our communities since 1974.
