Fanwood-Scotch Plains Rotary Golf Outing on September 18, 2017

The Rotary Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains is hosting the Annual Robert H. Kraus Memorial Golf Outing, which will benefit the Robert H. Kraus Memorial Scholarship as well as other Rotary initiatives. The golf outing will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Shackamaxon Golf and Country Club, 100 Tillinghast Turn, Scotch Plains.
Although the location has not changed, this year the start time will take place earlier in the day. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a breakfast buffet from 9:00am to 11am. The Shotgun Start is scheduled for 11:00am with cocktails, dinner and awards from  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The event will feature several Hole in One prizes as well as auction prizes, including a foursome at Basking Ridge Country Club, and College and Pro sports tickets.
The scholarship was created to honor the memory of Bob Kraus, a long time Rotarian and respected member of the community. It is awarded to a Scotch Plains Fanwood High School graduating senior who will be attending Rutgers University, has been involved in extracurricular activities or volunteerism, and has maintained minimum grade point average of 3.0. The first scholarship was awarded in 2011.
