It was like a summer day, temperature in the 80’s and a slight breeze greeting several hundred participants in this year’s Fanwood 5K and Family Fun Run Saturday, October 21, 2017. It was an afternoon event for the first time, but the route was the same and the enthusiasm among the runners was contagious. The winner of the 5K was Dan Jablon of Fanwood. Another great event put on by our Recreation Commission with support from many volunteers, Mayor Colleen Mahr and the Fanwood Borough Council.
