2nd annual Little Lord Farm Festival – Oct. 21

Little Lord Farm Festival

On October 21st, the Historic Preservation Committee of Berkeley Heights will sponsor a Fall Festival at the Littell-Lord Farmstead on Horseshoe Road. The event will take place between 12-4 p.m. (Rain date is Oct. 22.)

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness in the community for the Littell-Lord Farmstead, the oldest historic building in Union County (1763). Over the years the building has fallen into disrepair. The current Township Administration established the Historic Preservation Committee in 2019. Its mission is to formulate a plan to restore and maintain the building as well as look to preserve and mark other historic places in town.

Among the events at the Festival are painting pumpkins, face painting, Halloween themed arts and crafts, a beer garden sponsored by Trap Rock, vendors will be present to provide the opportunity to purchase Holiday gifts. Information about the Historic Preservation Committee and its other projects will be available.
