Venturing Crew 119/Girl Scout Troop 65876 (Patriot Path & Heart of NJ) hosted their 4th Annual Clothing Drive last weekend (April 25). They collected over 250 bags of clothing and accessories for those in need. All items were distributed to families and individuals in need in the USA.

This dedicated troop of young ladies, Amy Jaglowski, Natalie Lizak and Faith Wright, are 9th grade honor roll students at Dunellen High School. Katie Pinckney, a 9th Grade honor roll student, attends Union Catholic High School. All the girls have been in scouting since kindergarten and are currently planning or in the progress of completing their Gold Award.

Between soccer, basketball, track, choir, and various other activities these students always find time to participate in our extremely active scouting year. As well as, volunteers for community service projects and events with their sponsor, Dunellen America Legion Post 119. The girls are proud to part of the Legion Family, and are always on hand to help with their many events and programs which benefit our community, schools, veterans and military families.

These young ladies will continue to host two drives a year, in September/October and April. “Look for flyers on your doorsteps!”

They wish to thank all those whose donations made our Clothing Drive an incredibly successful event!

Thank you for helping us to make someone’s life better!
