Deerfield School’s Student Council members held their first Senior Citizens Technology Help Workshop in the new Media Center on Thursday, March 10th.
The middle school students were excited to give expert advice on skills such as texting and emailing from a cell phone, getting internet access on a desktop, and posting pictures on facebook. Student Council Advisor Mrs. Jessica Goldstein collaborated with Mountainside’s Senior Citizen Coordinator Mrs. Kim Moriak to bring the students and community members together. Deerfield school plans to offer another workshop this spring.
