Dancing Scientist at Mt. Horeb School

(above) Wearing a bespangled lab coat and white sneakers aglow in red and blue lighted trim, the Dancing Scientist (a.k.a. Jeffrey Vinokur) wowed Mt. Horeb students on May 31, combining music, dance moves and jaw dropping science demonstrations. "I'm a real scientist," said Vinokur, a Biochemistry PhD candidate at UCLA who has appeared on the Discovery Channel, NBC’s “Today” Show, the Weather Channel and other major media outlets. "I like to dance and I like science." The Dancing Scientist is the last in a series of educational and entertaining assemblies provided to Mt. Horeb students this year by the PTO and its cultural arts program.
