Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad’s Annual Fund Drive

(above) The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) was on hand during Clark’s Annual Tree Lighting on November 26. The squad attends these ceremonies not only to show support for our township but to provide prompt emergency medical services if needed. To do this, the Squad requires time from people willing to volunteer as well as donations.

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) is facing a financial crisis. The increased expenses incurred during the pandemic along with the normal operating expenses are still impacting the finances. The ambulances need to be properly maintained and many of the necessary items need to be replaced as they expire. Additionally, we need to hire employees to keep Clark protected when our volunteers are not available.

The Squad’s Annual Holiday Fund Drive was recently sent to all Clark residents. While making your holiday shopping list, consider donating to CVES. Donations can also be made by sending a check to The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad at 875 Raritan Road, Clark, New Jersey 07066.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, either as an EMT or a driver, please email salacchi@hotmail.comTraining is provided by the squad.
