Cranford United Methodist Church Celebrates Ordination of Pastor

The Cranford United Methodist Church celebrated the ordination of Pastor Cameron Overbey on June 5, 2016 with a special worship service and barbeque.
He leads the congregation in a variety of service projects of the Cranford United Methodist Church which include: The Christian Connection before-and-after school program; the Sandy Saturday Team which helps rebuild homes devastated by Superstorm Sandy; the Samaritan Sandwich Ministry which delivers food to St. Joseph’s in Elizabeth; a Blanket Ministry which makes hand-tied fleece blankets for those who are in need; a Prayer Shawl Ministry; the Bridges Ministry which delivers lunches to those in need; a Gift Cards for the Hungry project; the Mustard Seed Garden which grows food for those in need; the RISE program for youth which sends teams to help re-build homes in rural New York … and many more.
Pastor Cameron welcomes all to come and experience the life changing power of God’s love. Sunday worship is at 8:45am when a contemporary service is held in the church education building, and at 10:30am a traditional service is held in the main church sanctuary. A Kids Corner is provided at each service and also childcare is available in our nursery room. The church is located at 201 Lincoln Avenue, corner of Walnut and Lincoln Avenues, Cranford.
